Just so you know:  This site is NOT dedicated specifically to any person, band, game, poet, or artist.  This page is, however, dedicated specifically to ME.

My E-mail address is: kidmike2000@hotmail.com

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.  This is my first webpage, which I have *succesfully* managed to put together.  For those unfamiliar with me, and even to those who aren't a stranger, my name is Mike and I am 19 years of age.  I live in Florida, even though I hail from the cold state of Michigan! (Proud of my home state?  You bet I am!)

Some of my hobbies include: Music, instruments, poetry, video games, internet, TV and movies, (comedies, especially.) and literature!  Naturally, I shall elaborate on each of these things and more.  My interests are varied, so I'll try and fit the most outstanding ones on this page.

Now, I kind of feel stupid for this, but just for those who wish to contact me, I have all 3 major IM services, so chances are you'll have ONE of them.  If not, then there's nothing I can do.  Here's all contact information.

I hope you enjoy your stay here, and that you are able to find the website conveniant and easy to navigate.  Thank you for your time, and don't forget. - Have a nice day!

New edition - News!

Hello everyone!  I've decided to make due with the empty space that has been looming over my homepage for quite some time now, and post updates and news about what's going on with me and my normal life...  *snickers*  It will also include updates on the website, just so you know if you need to check out something that wasn't there before.

There are some changes to the "My band" section of the webpage.  Go ahead and check it out, and try not to be too shocked!  :)

Hey guys!  I know it's been awhile since I've updated, but this isn't a news post for an update.

This is an entry for a link to my friend Stacy's mom's webpage that is dedicated to her artwork.  Stacy is available for hire so if you're looking for someone in her field of expertise, feel free to browse the site - she is available for work.  But overall, I think you'll enjoy the artwork on the page, even if you're not looking to hire someone.

Enjoy!

Alright, well I think I've done quite a good update tonight.  I put up a section devoted to some of the thoughts that I come up with when I'm feeling in an inspired mood.  Oh, and I'd also love to thank all of you for getting my hit counter up over the 200 mark!  That's great, and I owe it all to you guys!  Thanks again!  :)

This is a rather small update, but I've been taking a few of those Emode quizzes, and when prompted to feel free to submit a profile, I did so.  You can check it out, if you wish.

Hopefully that works.  Feel free to check it out.  And if you're a member at Emode, it's all the better.  :D  That's it for now.

I made two reviews on two PC games, which I'm sure you'll enjoy reading about, in my Reviews section.  Also added two RECENT pictures of myself which I took via web cam.  They're posted on the "More about myself." section.  Like I said, enjoy!  :)

Happy New Year, everybody!  I know, I'm so late in updating everything I can't even wish you guys a happy new year on time!  But nonetheless, even though this is a minor detail, I made a review on the Gameboy Advance.  Feel free to check it out.  And as if the empty promises weren't enough, I swear I'll find more time to update this page soon.  Finding time is a lot like finding the shoes you left in MY room.  Rest assured, that's no easy task.  Oh, also here's something interesting - the majority of the hits that you see on that hit meter down there are from people who are looking for stuff other than my website.  For instance, someone was looking for pictures of TrustCO...  Boom, hit.  And someone else was looking for Jimmy Fallon stuff that you could play on your website...  Boom, hit.  You get the point.  So before you go and think I'm Mr. Popularity, think again.  Also, I put a huge sign up near the title that lets people know so they don't waste their time.

Hey everyone!  Yeah, I'm long overdue for an update but I just thought I'd like to let you all know that I've updated a bit.  I put a history of 311 up on my little page dedicated to the band with the boom (311 - my inspiration as a musician).  Also, I've decided to start a Review section.  It doesn't have much on it now, but I made a little review about The Two Towers so you might want to check it out!  Thanks for being patient with me.  Mom says patience is a virtue until you have kids, then it's a curse.

As much as I like to cheat, so that it looks like lots of people are checking out my page, I put a stop to that.  So from now on, hits will be counted on the number of visits, not how many times the home page is hit (I.E. refreshes, clicking on "The Hive" link to go back to the home page, ect.)

Other than that, I put 2 pictures, and some info up, on my recent guitar amp purchase!  I also shrank the photo of 311 outside their tour bus, on the section I dedicated just to them.  Anyways, be sure to check out that and the "Music - What I play" section.  This isn't a major update or anything, just to let ya know.  I'll undertake an overhaul sometime soon, but until then, there ya go!

Oh, oh!  And one other thing - I FINALLY found a guestbook that works.  Please sign it.  I know it seems as though I'm beseeching you, so congrats - that's exactly what I'm doing.  :D  Enjoy!

I put up the short bios and pictures of each of the members of 311, in my 311 - My inspiration as a musician section.  I'm going to be adding more soon, so stay tuned!

I've completely updated my favorite albums page, just like I said I would!  So go ahead and feel free to take a look!  It's been a long time coming, but I'd never let you down!  Oh, and just so everyone knows, my little brother gave me a cold...  Confound you, Jordan!  Be wary, for I might sneeze in your general direction and cause you to fall into a relapse.  Then what, huh punk!?  :D

Hello, one and all!  I've decided to switch the format of my news updates, so that the latest is at the top, and the most previous is at the bottom - it just kind of makes more sense, and it should be more conveniant for everyone!  Now why don't I think of these things from the start?  I can answer my own question, thank you.  The answer is, "I haven't the faintest idea."  Well anyways, I'm intending on fully updating my Favorite Bands and Albums section, really soon.  Oh, and another thing - the comments page turned out to be bupkus, yet again.  From now on, there's an E-mail address posted on that page, where you can send your comments to.  If you had tried to submit something into the forms, before, sorry - I never got them.  Please, send them if you have something you want to say about my site; I love hearing from you guys!  Keep checking in, every so-often, and thanks again for visiting!

Got some paychecks in again, and invested in a pair of headphones as well as my OWN copy of Return to Castle Wolfenstein.  Finally, no more scrambling for CD keys!  Feel free to ask me to play, whenever you catch me online!  Me and my brother have also started that little band fund, and right now we're investing in his double bass pedal...  Next up, my new guitar!  Consider all debts, after that, paid in full...  maybe.  Oh and I've added a few new features to my page...  Maybe you'll notice them, and maybe you won't...  but I have added them.  Also made a comments section.  All your comments will be sent to my E-mail, so don't worry about whether everyone will see them or not.  I hope to hear from you!  Anyways, that's pretty much it!

I went through and I had to, unfortunately, delete my pictures for the missionary trip...  Not the ones on the section, just the ones that I took personally and then posted them up on those 4 different pages...  I'm HOPING that it will enable more people to view my page, longer.  And, since I like to waste space, I've put my sappy little love disaster story back onto the web page.  And, I've added a hit counter, so I can see how many of you are actually taking a peep at my humble little web page.  Hope you enjoy!

Well I just got back from a groovy little concert called the Zeta Halloweenie Roast, and I have to say that it was a really awesome time!  5 bands played there - Seether, Theory of a Dead Man, Trust Company, Disturbed, and Korn.

Unfortunately, we were too far back from the gate, in line, to see Seether open the show up.  However, we did make it in right after they wrapped up.  Theory of a Dead Man was probably the most talented of the line up...  Sadly, they didn't receive the biggest response that I was hoping they'd get.  Trust Company was the band I came to see, and they hit it off!  Disturbed was also a highlight for the evening as well.  Korn was ok.  They played some songs that I really got into, but they're just not my type of music...  But it didn't stop everyone else from going hysterical!

Overall - a wonderful evening!

I turned in two of my paychecks, and I had well over 90 bucks...  which I was good-intentionally trying to set aside so that we could save up for sound and music equipment...  and instead, I went out and bought 6 new CDs!  And I'm real anxious to listen to all of them.  I picked out:  The White Stripes - White Blood Cells, Pete Yorn - Musicforthemorningafter, The Vines - Highly Evolved, Five for Fighting - America Town, The Strokes - Is this it, and Jimmy Fallon - The Bathroom Wall.

So far, I've only listened to Jimmy Fallon, but I'll tell you this much - Buy it!  If you're like me, and you like some humorous songs about road rage, snowball fights, sucking at basketball, and being blessed with the title of an "idiot boyfriend", then this is for you!  Of course, don't expect it to be an all-out music album.  It's actually, for the most part, a CD with stand up comedy.  But the first 5 tracks are where it's at!  And you'll love the stand-up as well!

That's all for now!

"I'm happy with myself, I'm satisfied with my strengths, and I look at my weaknesses as nothing more than a humble reminder that I'm just myself. - In a way, that also keeps me satisfied.  I can't go (way) beyond what I'm capable of, so I have no need to feel as if I'm lacking something, so long as I know I'm pushing myself to a level I feel is within my reach."  -  Mike O.
