My latest investment - A Peavey Bandit 65 watt guitar amp! |

|
Many happy times; plenty a more deafened people! |
To add to the list of conveniant little goodies, I've got a model GX-20M, 15 watt Crate amp. That thing pumps out incredibly loud sound, despite it's small size. - If I wanted to, I could pick the thing up using only one of my fingers, but I wouldn't recommend you carry it in that fashion. (Snap, crackle, pop, and then it drops.)
But, that particular amp is more suited for a vocal and practice amp, because I've upgraded to a 65 watt Peavey Bandit. Now THAT thing is loud, and I love it to death. I purchased it used at a pawn shop for about 148 dollars. Good deal, if I do say so myself! It's got inputs for two guitars, one high gain and one low gain. Optional footswitch, but my pedal is taking care of that for now. Built in reverb, and the best part? Its previous owner modified it to have wheels on the bottom, and the original speaker has been replaced by a Pile Driver speaker, which I hear are some of the best around!
Plus, with the aid of my trusty Digitech RP200, with over 80 pre-set sounds and almost unlimited combinations, like wah pedal, amp model, various effects, and reverb, it cranks up the power and versatility of my amp considerably.

My bass guitar. |
Hah hah! Bet you didn't know I play a little bass guitar too, eh? Well, it's true. - I do. I got this particular blue bass guitar from my friend Sam, who is the bassist of our band. He got a better one, a Yamaha, and told me I could have his old one for 50 bucks. Sweet deal, I must say!
Anyways, this bass guitar is another Fender Squier brand. It's a P-Bass, to be exact. Standard four strings, too.
The sad part is that I have yet to get an actual bass amplifier for this baby, so anything I play on it has to be done through my pedal, with either a pair of headphones, or with my guitar amp turned down real low, so that it doesn't blow out. Ah well, money is hard to come by for me, so it'll take awhile.
On my bass guitar, I have learned mostly 311 songs. Oh, and I haven't been playing bass for that long at all... I just got it in early February 2002, and I haven't gotten much experience into it yet... But I'm working on it! Hopefully, I'll get semi-good within the next few months!
