This is a page to express some of the things that go through my crazy mind. They are all pretty original, and I do warn you: They are MY thoughts and opinions. If you are offended, I'm sorry. Some are thoughtful, and others will cause you to roll your eyes so hard that they'll fall out. Thanks, and enjoy!
"Some people find it easy to judge. I find it easy to play the critic. But what is the difference between the two?"
"In life, you learn two important things:
1. - You will come to love and hate many things - for good reasons and bad ones.
2. - When you die, none of it will matter to you, again."
"You want to know why none of us are perfect? The ignorant mock intelligence, and the intelligent mock the ignorant."
"I wonder what the heck happened to Mighty Mouse. Did the aliens, who have recently been terrorizing rural areas of Earth, snare him in a giant mouse trap? Is he a prisoner who is forced to turn a giant hamster wheel, hooked up to a generator on board one of the alien vessels? Did the Care Bears get jealous and snipe him from the sky? Is Mickey bitter because Disney never animated him with a permanent set of wings so that he himself could fly?"
"I think that life is a very precious thing. You can go and tell me about how much it sucks to be living right now, and I'll tell you flat out: Be glad you are not forced to be happy or sad when you know you'd immediately detest such a 'cruel' and 'unfair' invasion of self-governing your own life. Change your perceptions and you'll see it's only as bad or as good as you make it out to be."
"You can tell me how much of a jerk I am, how I never pay attention to you, and how much of a hassle it is being with me, but I'll tell you one thing - if you find that there is so much fault within me, then the best thing for both of us is for you to walk out that door and into the bliss of forgetting everything I am and everything I've done to you. As a person with feelings myself, I'd do the same with you under such circumstances."
"In a world full of deceit, lies, hate, loathing, cheating, killing, broken hearts, and everything that kills a person on the inside, it's a wonder how you can find comfort in the little things like spending time with God or with friends. I've found a few minutes being comforted by loved ones is worth more than hours, days, weeks and even months of comfort from myself - a person that has no solace to give to himself in his own time of need."
"I've found it's far easier to infect people with sadness. Bringing them up takes a little extra effort, but the results can be far more amazing than you could possibly imagine - both, for you and for the soul that is blessed enough to be in your presence."
"If you took the time and thought about how nervous you get when you know your operating system is about to crash, think about how Bill Gates must feel. To take a good guess, multiply *your* sorrows by millions...... times BILLIONS!"
"People are endowed with the need to follow others. If you are happy, they will be happy with you. If you are mad, they will be mad with you. If you pity yourself, they will pity you.
If you sink into your own depths of despair, only then would it be foolish for anyone to try and follow you down."
The harshest thing about the world is that it will manipulate you into becoming like everybody else. 'Tis little more than a lazy king being carried around by its beaten and humble followers. Don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of like that. Break out of that lifestyle and live your own life. It might turn the rage of the world against you, but in the end its ways cannot touch you when you're on higher ground.
"Friendship: It's not the amount of friends you have, it's how much of a friend the people you know are to you. You don't need to owe a person anything in order to win a friendship worth keeping. It can be as simple as sharing your soda; your time; your life, and your experiences."
"You can believe love is a series of choices and rules. You can have your logic and you can have your philosophy. You can say guys and girls are supposed to act a certain way. You can choose to misconstrue the messege of what your significant other is saying if you so desire.
I can believe that love is dictated by the love two people have for each other, and on the decisions and judgements the two people make. What goes on should be totally between them and God, and whether or not you can take a person's word for it is your business to deal with. Feelings cannot and will not be changed by anything except time - the harder you try, the more you're going to tick another person off."
"Real life is the thief that sucks you dry of joy and innocence. The inner child within you will keep you from drying out entirely."
"Towards the very end of someone's lifespan, I have but one word of advice - taking up smoking would make very little difference at that point in time."
